This item doesn’t come with an airbag unless you specifically added one to your order, you’ll reuse the airbag from your original steering wheel.

Each C5 Corvette airbag cover is carefully reupholstered using original GM parts, since brand-new replacements aren’t made anymore. They’re built to look amazing and last, but because they’re reused components, horn performance can vary. Most work great out of the box, and if yours doesn’t, it’s a quick fix—just move the horn contact piece from your stock cover into your new one.

Wheel arrived quickly and looks amazing! Have the Taupe/Shale interior so used a little colorbond to paint the leather and it couldn’t have come out a better match. Absolutely love the feel of this wheel over the stock one.

This is my second Overtake Carbon Fiber item that I have added to my 2000 Corvette convertible. The first being the double din center stack when I upgraded my sound system. That piece was amazing with great fit & finish. Very happy with it and received many positive compliments at car shows. When it was time to upgrade my steering wheel (a second time), I went with a Carbon Fiber/leather wheel from Overtake. As with my first part, this steering wheel is amazing. The Carbon Fiber, the leather and all the stitching, whether it is on the logo or on the leather itself is just perfect. The attention to detail really shows. This wheel is now the centerpiece of my interior. It was the missing part to make my interior a one of a kind. I show my car quite a bit and when asked where did you get these interior items, I am proud to say "Overtake Auto". So hopefully you are getting a few new orders based on my support of the excellent products I have received. They were not inexpensive, but the price was more than worth it. I will continue to keep an eye out on your website for other Carbon Fiber parts for my interior. There still a few bits I need to complete my vision for my Corvette. Save the Wave!

I bought this steering wheel for my 1999 Firebird transam but the transam is the evil twin of the Camaro so i knew the steering wheels were interchangeable, the quality of this steering wheel looks amazing it literally looks like a gem the forged carbon fiber looks spectacular!

The difference is amazing! I figured it would take a while for me to receive my order, seeing as it is a custom made air bag, but the wait was definitely worth it! The craftsmanship on the airbag is remarkable. The custom airbag goes much nicer with the carbon fiber steering wheel (also bought off of this website). I am so happy with the results, and extremely happy that I found out about this website! Amazing work!
